Troy Matchett
Lead Pastor
Troy began working at Grace church in 2008, after leading in several capacities over the past several years, he is now the lead pastor of Grace Church. Pastor Troy is extremely passionate about his job, and he has a deep love for the people of this region! Pastor Troy graduated from Eastern Penticostal Bible College in 1998. He was later Ordained in 2001, and is now Rev. Troy Matchett.
Pastor Troy is married to Penny and together they have two children, other than his family and job Pastor Troy is most passionate about the Montreal Canadians, smoking meat in his new smoker and a good ole’ french fry!
Pastor Troy has a deep passion for seeing people come to Know God and live out the purpose and plan he has for their lives!
A fun fact about Troy, he is pretty good with a yo-yo and has a handful of tricks he can pull out of his pocket at any time!
Penny Matchett
Administrative & Children’s Pastor
Penny started working at Grace Church in 2015, she graduated from Eastern Penticostal Bible College in 1998. It is pretty safe to say that Penny is the brains and creativity of almost everything that happens at Grace Church! She is Quiet and Quirky, and loves to laugh! Penny loves living in Bouctouche and serving the Acadian people!
Pastor Penny is married to her husband and best friend, Troy, she loves cruising with her family and sharing her famous red velvet cupcakes with everyone she meets!
Penny’s greatest joy is seeing lives be transformed by the kindness of Christ and lives being radically changed and used by God to advance the Kingdom!
Fun Fact about Penny, she used to own her own cupcake shop before working at Grace Church, and even though she had a lot of fun doing that, she loves working at Grace Church even more!
Natasha Matchett-DeVito
Youth Pastor
Natasha Matchett-Devito started working at Grace Church in 2004. In the same year, she founded Youth Quake. With 7 kids on their first night, Youth Quake has since grown tremendously!
Natasha graduated from Eastern Bible College in 1998, she started pastoring in 1999 and was ordained in 2007. Natasha is married to Jeremy and this year they are celebrating 20 years of marriage!
Natasha has a passion for reaching the Acadian people and is incredibly gifted at connecting with teenagers. She brings excellent leadership to Youth Quake. Natasha pastored Youth Quake from 2004-2011 and after a short break she returned to Youth Quake in 2016 to continue fulfilling the vision God gave her for Youth Quake.
Natasha brings so many amazing dreams and ideas to Grace Church! She is always thinking outside the box and bringing new and fun ideas to the table.
Fun fact about Natasha, she can rip a phonebook in half and once had a ventriloquism ministry!
Andrea Roberts
Worship & Family Pastor
Andrea Roberts was hired on staff at Grace church in May of 2024 as the Worship and Family Pastor. She helps all ages engage in worship and oversees the music at Grace Church! She helps organize and lead Mighty Kids programs on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings.
She graduated from Kingswood University with a Bachelor of Arts in Ministry in April 2024.
Pastor Andrea will be marrying Pastor Kyle in October 2024, and they are excited to be on this ministry journey together!
She is passionate about helping others encounter God through worship and helping younger generations understand the Bible in new and creative ways!
Fun fact about Andrea; she did halftime for the Harlem Globetrotters with JumpFit.
Kyle Spates
Pastoral Apprentice
Kyle started working for Grace Church in May of 2024 as a pastoral apprentice. He is currently finishing his Bachelor of Arts in Ministry degree online at Kingswood University and is slated to graduate in the spring of 2026! Kyle oversees the tech ministry at Grace Church, assists Pastor Troy with pastoral duties, assists Pastor Natasha with Youth Quake, as well as managing Grace Church’s creative arts & social media.
In the summer of 2024, Kyle started a young adult ministry at Grace Church called Souled Out! Kyle has a passion for young adults, the challenges they face in today’s society/culture, and seeing them overcome life’s obstacles. Primarily he has a passion for sharing his life story in hopes that others may see the redemptive powers of Christ!
Kyle also enjoys music of all kinds. He plays acoustic guitar and sings, with roots in country/bluegrass music, but believes there is good and bad music within all genres! He loves to worship on and off the stage, and finds fulfillment in writing songs to and for the Lord!
Fun fact about Kyle, before becoming a pastor, he dreamt of becoming an actor and was enrolled in the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Los Angeles before the Lord called him into ministry!
